250 drones created iconic classic rock imagery that filled the skies over FC Dallas

Frisco, TX — Sky Elements flew a 250-drone show Saturday night over Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX. The drone light show was for FC Dallas’ “Y’all Means All” themed night. Sky Elements lit up the skies of Frisco, Texas, painting mesmerizing visuals, catapulting the audience into the 1970s. The drone show created iconic scenes from famous classic rock albums, including a giant Yellow Submarine! The brilliant light held audiences of all ages spellbound while timeless classics played as background music.

The show started with a bright and sunny sunflower greeting the fans at Toyota Stadium. The yellow drones shuttered and morphed into the Yellow Submarine, kicking off this fantastic Beatles tribute. The tribute to the Beatles included strawberries from Strawberry Fields Forever, that danced across the sky. The strawberries turned to the silhouettes of the band crossing the famous Abbey Road. We finish the section with a mural of the late, great John Lennon with the text IMAGINE below it.

Moreover, the excitement didn’t stop there! The stadium erupted when the cowbell from Don’t Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult started clanking away. The drones then formed to create a giant 300-foot-tall Grim Reaper who menacingly hovered over the stadium. The drones then shift to include a drumstick and cowbell with the letters MORE written out in tribute to the classic “More Cowbell” skit from Saturday Night Live!

A Message of Peace from FC Dallas

The most iconic part, however, would be the transition to the Dark Side of the Moon cover by Pink Floyd. Notably, the ominous prism beamed with light, creating a radiant rainbow like never before! Sky Elements then wrapped up the show with a message to spread love and to make peace, not war. A peaceful dove finishes the show with a fade to the FC Dallas logo.
