Sky Elements had the honor of making history itself by presenting the first-ever drone light show above the Alamo. This unforgettable event highlighted the Alamo's historical significance with none other than a Sky Elements Drone Show.

How To Permit a Drone Show Above a Landmark?

Flying above historic landmarks like the Alamo requires an extensive approval process. From local city permits to state-level authorization, multiple branches of government are involved to ensure everything is in compliance with regulations.

When organizing a drone light show, approvals are typically required from both the landowner and the airspace authority (the FAA). In cases like the Alamo, where the landowner is the state government, the process becomes even more complex. Securing approval for this historic site involved navigating through multiple levels of state government, including gaining the final approval from a Texas state congress committee.
