PASADENA, CA – It’s official! Simon Cowell pushed the Golden Buzzer for a Sky Elements drone show over the Pasadena Convention Center! 1,000 drones took flight for the Sky Elements America’s Got Talent audition in an epic display recreating scenes from the moon landing. The coveted Golden Buzzer is the highest honor an act on AGT could ask for. Sky Elements will forever cherish receiving the first DOUBLE Golden Buzzer from the show’s creator himself. The Golden Buzzer propels Sky Elements to one of the AGT live show towards the end of summer, where the team will perform again!
Creating the America’s Got Talent drone show
America’s Got Talent is the most-watched variety show of all time. Competing against so many other talents on this show is a dream come true. The show revolved around the different stages of the moon landing. The imagery included a rocket launch, a lunar landing, and a spacewalk. The anonymous astronaut performing the spacewalk turned out to be Simon Cowell!
The dynamic duo of drone shows
Preston, Brian, and the team donned flight suits reminiscent of Top Gun as they took to the stage. While the outfits aren’t necessary for a successful drone show, they definitely make them look oh-so-cool! Preston and Brian started the beginnings of Sky Elements out of their college dorms. Producing animated Christmas light shows and pyrotechnics turned from a hobby to a career. The prospect of drone light shows at the time was daunting, but the duo used their expertise to get to where they are today.
What’s next for Sky Elements?
Many are wondering what’s next for Sky Elements in the coming months. This season of America’s Got Talent is jam-packed with exceptional talent nationwide. We’ll be tuning in to see who we’re up against, but in the meantime, we’re a month out from our busiest day of the year: the Fourth of July.
