The SFC kicked off its inaugural season in 2022 with one of the most prestigious big game fishing tournaments in the Gulf of Mexico, The Louisiana Gulf Coast Billfish Classic.
Sky Elements was thrilled to bring big entertainment to the kickoff events for the tournament by putting on a drone light show using 200 drones. Formations included a wrangler, a three-dimensional sport fishing boat, and a 430 foot wide billfish swimming in the sky.
Tournament competition began Thursday April 28 with registered boats leaving from Cypress Cove Marina in Venice, Louisiana and Hurricane Hole Marina in Grand Isle, Louisiana. The event concluded Saturday April 30.
